At an initial consultation, the surgeon analyzes the patient's scalp, discusses their preferences and expectations, and advises them on the best approach (e.g. single vs. multiple sessions) and what results might reasonably be expected. Pre-operative analysis of the scalp will help to know the actual existing density of hair, so that postoperative results of newly transplanted hair grafts can be accurately assessed. When you are done with consultation and after you are fully satisfied with what we offer, you will be given procedure dates according to your wish or depending on the availability of dates at solace.One week before the surgery:You are required to do the mandatory blood tests as told by the doctorat the time of the consultation.One day before the surgery:You will be contacted by the solace one day prior to your surgery for detailed preoperative instructions which are to be followed. On the day of surgery.Your test reports will be reviewed by the doctor and you will be asked to sign the required consent form. EXTRACTION:The donor area is marked and local anesthesia is injected followed by tumescence solution. The punch is selected according to the graft size and grafts are extracted one by one carefully and stored in a solution. This process usually takes 2; 2.5 hrs. After the extraction is done you will be given a short break for about 15-20 minutes.
IMPLANTATION: After the break, the implantation procedure is started where in the grafts placed one by one are carefully taking care of the direction and angulations of your natural hair. In between the procedure you will be given short breaks for lunch and tea.
